REPAIR TRACKER Take control of your repair department
Repair Tracker performs two vital roles Designed for stores which have a repair business and want to track profitability by entering repairs from either the Point of Sale or directly through the back office.
ARMS’ Repair Tracker carries out two vital roles:
- It tracks repair status
- It reports on the profitability of each subcontractor or tradesman, plus the profitability of each repair sub-department
Repair Status At any stage you can inquire on a repair to find out its current status, where it is, which subcontractor has it, if it is completed, the promised date and quoted or estimated price. This helps you have repairs ready on time at the quoted price, resulting in happier customers and more business.
Reporting on repair profitability The repair department is broken down into 10 sub-departments. These can be set up for items such as batteries, watch repairs, valuations, engraving, jewelry repairs etc, to allow you to print a single page report on the profitability of each sub-department by both Year-to-Date and Month-to-Date showing Sales, Cost of Sales, Gross Profit generated and Mark-up achieved.
Reporting on profitability of subcontractors and in-house tradespeople Unprofitable repair departments can be a major drain on the retail side of an operation. ARMS’ Repair Tracker program reports on the profitability of both in-house tradespeople and also external subcontractors on a Month-to-Date and Year-to-Date basis showing sales and gross profit generated. This allows you more astute control over this vital area of your business.
